So I was sifting through the Warrior Forum today, and I came across an eBook about finding long-tail keywords with little or no competition. For those of you who don’t know, the Warrior Forum is a forum about Internet Marketing. I just recently starting visiting the forum because a few of the people I follow on Twitter mention it a lot. They say it is the best forum for Internet Marketing, so I am trying it out.

I normally never buy eBooks like this online, especially from sales pitches on forums. But the eBook was only $7 and there were some good testimonials, so I thought what can it hurt. I have been getting into keyword research lately, and I thought I could be missing something, so I bought the book. It was complete crap. The tagline was “finding long-tail keywords with absolutely no competition”.

Ok, the book had a little information on finding keywords, but not a lot. The eBook was 46 pages, with about 30 promoting himself and his blog. Around 4 pages about finding keywords, of which ALL of the methods can be found in multiple places on the Internet for free. He never does go into finding the keywords with no competition. I feel like I just gave this guy my money for completely wasting my time.

Stay away from this site. The guy is slime, and he is the reason why Internet Marketers and eBook writers have a bad name.

EDIT: I did get my refund, but only after I filed a dispute. Apparently sending an email asking for a refund wasn’t good enough.
